Glasgow, Scotland, UK. 28th September 2025. Double amputee, Sha Qadir gets a big send off by Pro Palestine supporters as he heads off on a seven-month wheel from Glasgow to Gaza. The ride to Gaza is intended to raise awareness that Gaza has the highest rate of child amputations in the world, and to gather support for the ‘Gaza Sunbirds’, a team of para-athletes who promote resilience and hope during the ongoing blockade and occupation.
